Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders went live at midnight local time on June 25, 2026, across PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. After years of waiting, fans can now officially secure their copy of the most anticipated game in recent memory.
Two Editions Available
Rockstar has confirmed two editions at launch. The Standard Edition is priced at $79.99 — a step up from the $70 that became the previous-gen standard. The Ultimate Edition comes in at $99.99 and is digital-only. That $20 premium covers an exclusive bundle of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and access to exclusive in-game vendors including a car modification shop, a tattoo parlour, a clothing store, and a salon.
Pre-Order Bonuses
Everyone who pre-orders either edition receives the Vintage Vice City Pack, which includes a classic 1955 Vapid Stanier, a Shore Court garage, outfits and hairstyles for both Jason and Lucia, and an exclusive weapon pattern. Digital pre-orders also come with a free one-month trial of GTA+.
No Disc in the Physical Box
In a notable departure from tradition, Rockstar confirmed that physical copies of GTA VI will not contain a game disc. Instead, the box holds a download code. Physical editions are scheduled to begin shipping on November 12, giving buyers time to redeem and pre-load ahead of the November 19 launch.
No PC Version at Launch
GTA VI launches exclusively on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026. Rockstar and Take-Two have not announced a PC release date. Based on the studio's release history, a PC port is widely expected to follow the console launch but remains officially unconfirmed.
